What data is collected when you visit this website
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, the hosting provider records a server log with your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and the browser and operating system you use. I use these logs only to keep the website running and secure. They are not combined with other data. Vercel Inc. is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For companies certified under this framework, the Swiss Federal Council has recognized an adequate level of data protection. On the plan I use, these logs are available to me for 24 hours. Vercel processes them on my behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement.
Contact form
The contact form on this website is operated by Trampoline Software SRL (Formspark), Rue de Marsannay-la-Côte 16, 5032 Mazy, Belgium, which processes the data on my behalf under a data processing agreement. When you submit the form, the data you enter (name, email address, your message and the options you select) is stored on servers in Ireland and Germany and forwarded to me by email. Switzerland recognizes the member states of the EU and EEA as providing adequate data protection. I use the data solely to handle your inquiry. Once your inquiry has been transferred to my CRM system, I delete it from the form service; Formspark keeps deleted entries recoverable for 30 days. Formspark retains technical data such as your IP address for up to 12 months for security and spam prevention. The AI and Operations Readiness Check
The AI and Operations Readiness Check is operated on the separate subdomain check.christophdock.com and is subject to its own privacy policy, which is available there. Assessment data is stored in Switzerland; parts of the processing take place within the European Union.
Fonts and third-party content
The fonts on this website are stored on my own server. No request is sent to Google Fonts or any other font service. The website loads no third-party scripts and shows no embedded content from other providers. This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies. Visitors are counted using a short-lived anonymized identifier derived from the request.
Your rights under the revised Swiss Data Protection Act
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection you have the right to ask what data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive it in a common electronic format, and to object to its processing. Write to christoph@christophdock.com and I will answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
